Itinerary Highlights

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 of Delhi and after you do your Immigration and other formalities you will be meet by our representative at the Airport arrival Hall. He will be carrying a Pla Card with your name written and after you meet him he will assist you to your Hotel

Later proceed for a Full Day City tour of Delhi along with your Guide
During the city tour you will be covering Qutab Minar - which is the tallest brick minaret in the world, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate – a war memorial which was built to salute the brave Indian soldiers of the British Army who lost their lives in World War 1, Rastrapati Bhawan or the President’s House and the Parliament Street where you can see various government buildings, Raj Ghat the cremation place of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and the Chandni Chowk

Day 3 Delhi – Varanasi (By Flight)

Today you will be transferred to the Delhi Airport to board Flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi Airport you are met by our Executive and he will transfer you to your pre booked Hotel.
Afternoon proceed to the village of Sarnath on the outskirts of town. It was in this Deer Park that the Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Park and Museum. Sarnath was made centre of Buddhist worship by the emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. We will visit the Main Shrine and Ashoka’s Pillar. In the Archaeological Museum we will see the beautifully carved capital from the pillar along with many other priceless Buddhist artifacts.

Day 4 Varanasi

Varanasi formerly known as Benares is the city where the Hindu followers come and bathe in the sacred waters of the Ganges as it is considered holy and auspicious. Early this morning get ready for a dawn boat ride on the River Ganges. The Ganges is the most sacred river in India. Hindus believe that after taking a bath in the River Ganges their sins get washed away. The Cremations of the dead bodies also takes place here on the banks of the river. After the boat ride walk through the fascinating narrow twisting lanes of the city to watch the performance of various Hindu rituals by the pilgrims.
After the boat trip on the Ganges return back to the hotel
After a short rest proceed for a city tour visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Vishweshwara Temple and Benares Hindu University is the largest residential university in Asia
In the evening see the Aarti Ceremony on the Ghats of River Ganges

Day 5 Varanasi – Allahabad (Drive 125 Kms, 3 ½ Hrs)

Allahabad is also known as Prayag. This is one of the largest cities of the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Allahabad is surrounded by the rivers Ganges and Yamuna on three sides, with only one side connected to the mainland Doab region, of which it is a part. This place is very important in Hindu scriptures for it is situated at the confluence, known as Triveni Sangam of the holy rivers.
Afternoon city tour of Allahabad, visit The Sangam (confluence). Here the muddy brown Ganga meets the blue Yamuna and the mystical Saraswati, with a broad flood plain forming a sandy patch in between, Mankameshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Allahabad Fort commissioned by Emperor Akbar in 1583, stands sentinel on the eastern bank of the Yamuna. The Saraswati Kup or Well of Saraswati is believed to be the source of the elusive river Saraswati lies inside the Fort. Ashoka Pillar, 10.6 metres high and dating from 242 BC. The pillar was brought from the Buddhist site of Kausambi by Emperor Akbar and has the edicts of Emperor Ashoka inscribed on it.

Day 7 Lucknow

Today proceed along with your guide to do city tour of Lucknow visiting Bara Imambara – an impressive tomb with beautiful Mughal architecture build in 1783, Chhota Imambara, Husainabad Clock Tower – A British architecture build in a park with a beautiful lake, Rumi Darwaza, Dilkusha Gardens. Day 8 Lucknow – Haridwar (By Train) & Haridwar – Rishikesh (Drive 25 Kms, 45 Minutes Drive)

Today you will be transferred to the Lucknow Railway Station to board Train for Haridwar. Arrive Haridwar Railway Station and transferred to Rishikesh.
In the evening see Aarti Ceremony on the Ghats of River Ganga in Haridwar.

Day 9 Rishikesh

Today tour of Rishikesh visiting Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Lakshman Temple, Shivnanda Ashram.
